I'm a self taught (better said - taught by my granddad) photographer, living in Riga, Latvia.     I started a long time ago in 70-ties with film camera and I will never forget that magic feeling of darkroom. Then comes digital era and post-processing comes easier than ever. Growing up, I always had a passion for photography. I loved the way that seemingly mundane moments could be captured and transformed into true beauty.

Passion to photography let me see simple roadside scenes as paintings, full of light , shadows, structures and compositions. My homeland is a great place to find beauty of forests, meadows and beaches in a heart of Europe. My camera is a great motivation to travel worldwide looking for new impressions and beauty from colorful hills of Iceland to dusty bazaars of Africa.
